Braxton Wakefield is a sophomore shortstop from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA where he is studying business administration. Originally from Houston, TX, Braxton played high school baseball at Stratford High School in Houston. During his time at Stratford he played both baseball (shortstop) and football (wide receiver). He was a three-time All-District selection in baseball and a two-time All-District selection in football.
