The Brazos Valley Bombers headed to Victoria Sunday for the first 2012 TCL playoff game, looking for a spot in the TCL Championship Series. It was a hard fought game with several lead changes and extra innings. Both teams proved they earned their spot in the game, but it was the Generals who edged out the Bombers taking home the 8-7 victory to clinch their TCL Championship Series berth.

The Brazos Valley Bombers have plenty to be proud of in this record breaking 2012 Season. The Bombers ended the 2012 season with the best overall record with 39 wins and 21 losses, as well as the most wins in franchise history. The Bombers can also add national ranking to their list of accomplishments, finishing out #27 in the Perfect Game USA Nation’s Top 30 Teams.

Sunday was the finale for the 2012 Brazos Valley Bombers who finished their most successful season to date.
