The hyped-up matchup between the Brazos Valley Bombers and TCL leading McKinney Marshals will have to wait another day. Heavy rains and thunderstorms poured into the Bryan area, soaking the field at Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark. Although the rain should subside by the normal game time, team officials did not believe that the field would be in playing condition.
The Bombers will travel to McKinney tomorrow to play the Marshals in a doubleheader that will begin at 5pm. The Bombers carry an 11-13 record into the game against the 15-9 Marshals. Trey Sperring will be on the mound as the Bombers try to close the deficit behind the first place Marshals.
