New Orleans extends winning streak to 13 games
The Privateers swept Arkansas- Little Rock this past weekend to extend their winning streak to 13 games. Former Bomber Mark McGonigle was fantastic, going 7-for-14 with five runs, four RBI and a home run, which was his eighth of the season. The Privateers moved to 18-8 in conference play and increased their lead over Louisiana-Monroe to two games.

Long Beach State takes series against UC- Santa Barbara
Long Beach State won two out of three over UC- Santa Barbara this past weekend to move into control of third place in the Big West. Serving as a pinch hitter on Sunday, T.J. Mittelstaedt had a single in his only at-bat of the series. Mittelstaedt has raised his batting average to .223 after struggling mightily in the beginning of the season.

Jacksonville State sweeps Tennessee Tech to extend winning streak to 12 games
Todd Cunningham had five hits in the series to increase his batting average to .344 as Jacksonville State easily disposed of conference rival Tennessee Tech this past weekend in three games. At 20-4 in conference play, Jacksonville State has a one game lead over Samford heading into the season’s final week.
