Bombers get ready for Big Weekend
With the end of the season drawing near and the tournament just weeks away, games are becoming as important as ever. Several Bombers will look to make giant contributions to their respective teams this weekend as they prepare for the final stretch. Tyler Davis will be making the start tonight for McNeese State as they host Texas A&M Corpus-Christi. Davis is 3-6 this season with a 4.96 ERA, but has pitched well as of late, winning two of his last three decisions.
Up this weekend:
Pacific vs Long Beach State
Texas A&M Corpus-Christi
Arkansas State vs University of New Orleans
Texas vs Kansas State
Oklahoma vs Texas Tech
Memphis vs Tulane
Former Bomber comes to College Station as rivals clash
Former Bomber Scooter Hicks is coming to town this weekend as his #4 ranked Missouri Tigers face off against the #6 Texas A&M Aggies. Hicks also pitched for the Aggies as a freshman, but has found his niche with the Tigers this season. Hicks will most likely see time in a relief role this weekend, but possibly will start the game on Sunday, as the Tigers have yet to announce their starting pitcher for that game.
