McNeese State falls to Louisiana Lafayette
McNeese State couldn’t tame the Louisiana Lafayette’s hot bats yesterday as McNeese State lost 14-8. Shon Landry was 0-for-4, although he did draw a walk and steal second base before eventually scoring a run.
Houston rolls over Texas State
John Touchton got the start for the University of Houston and although he did not pitch his best game, the Cougars sizzling offense made for it in a 15-9 win. Touchton gave up six runs in just over two innings for the #19 Cougars, who are now 1-1 since entering the Top 25.
