Touchton dominates as Houston rolls over McNeese State, 11-1
Bomber pitcher John Touchton was in the zone yesterday, allowing no hits over four innings en route to his second win of the season. He also tallied five strikeouts, including two against fellow Bomber shortstop, Shon Landry. Landry, who has been on a tear lately, was held hitless by the Houston pitching staff, but did manage to draw a walk in the 3rd inning.
Cunningham unable to save Jacksonville State
Freshman centerfielder Todd Cunningham wreaked havoc on the Alabama pitching staff yesterday, but in the end it was not enough as Alabama won 12-6. Cunningham reached base four times in the game, going 2-for-3 at the plate, drew two walks, and also scored two runs.
