Bombers Second Game Sweep
Bryan- College Station, TX (July 1, 2016) After the Bombers secured the first half championship, Brazos Valley looked to complete the two game sweep against the Cane Cutters.
The first four batters of the game came in and scored to start the
game winning the game 10-4 to improve their record to 19-5.
Offensive was led by Ivan Estrella who went two for three, two runs scored, and an RBI on a night where the team had seventeen hits including a solo homerun for first baseman Zack McGuire for a team leading third of the season.
With a 4-0 lead, starting pitcher Willy Amador threw five strong
innings striking out ten batters.
The Bombers next home game will be on July 4th starting at 1:05pm whenthey host the Victoria Generals on Military Appreciation night.
