The match was a close one, with the Hot Rods claiming an early lead in the top of the third inning to make the score 0 to 2. The Blue Claws climbed back to earn a run in the bottom of the third, making the score 1 to 2. MVP of the game, Isaac with the Blue Claws, had the RBI.
The game remained close for the next few innings with some exceptional fielding skills on display from both teams. At one point in the final inning, the Hot Rods could have extended their lead with a man on first but some amazing fielding skills from the pitcher to the first baseman threw the next batter out. There was one last chance for the Blue Claws to win the game. The Blue Claws proceeded to have a series of strong hits, which tied the game up 2 to 2. With Isaac up to bat, he loaded up the bases allowing for an easy game winning hit, allowing for a comeback victory for the Blue Claws with a score of 3 to 2.
