Bryan-College Station, TX (July 21, 2014) – For the second time this season, Brazos Valley Bombers third baseman Logan Nottebrok earned Texas Collegiate League Player of the Week Honors. So far, Nottebrok is the only player in the TCL to receive the award twice this season.
During week eight of the season, Nottebrok went 6-for-14 with three RBIs and a homerun. The junior out of Texas A&M University is riding a five-game hit streak, and registered multiple hits in his last two games. With a .370 batting average, Nottebrok is on pace to break the Bombers’ single season batting average record of .346 set by fellow Aggie Jacob House in 2011. Nottebrok’s three total homeruns lead the Bombers and are tied for fourth in the TCL, and his 18 RBIs are tied for eighth in the league.
