Bombers Single-Game Tickets To Go On Sale

Bryan-College Station, TX (May 23, 2007) – Brazos Valley Bombers fans who have been clamoring for tickets to Opening Night, inquiring about tickets for fireworks, or wondering when they can book a picnic on the party deck or a birthday party won’t have to clamor, inquire, or wonder come next week. The Bombers will begin selling tickets for individual games of the team’s 2007 inaugural season beginning Tuesday, May 29.

Fans will be able to purchase tickets for any of the Bombers 23 scheduled home dates this summer, beginning with the historic home opener on Friday, June 8. Seats will be available for sale in the reserved and general admission sections. Founder’s Club seats, the brand new premium seating that includes in-your-seat wait service, are exclusively sold as season tickets.

Ticket prices for individual games will be $9 for reserved seats and $7 for adult general admission. General admission tickets for seniors, children, and students with a valid ID will be $5.

Bombers tickets will be available for purchase in person at the team’s offices at 405 Mitchell Street in Bryan or by calling the Bombers at (979) 779-PLAY. Fans may also purchase tickets on the Internet through the team’s new interactive ticket system, which will be accessible at www.bvbombers.com come next week. The system will allow fans to view seating diagrams that show in real time what seats can be purchased. Fans will then be able to print out their tickets at home, on standard paper and using most any printer. These bar-coded tickets will be scanned upon entry to the ballpark, just like traditional tickets purchased at the ticket office.

For fans that want seats to call their own for some of the season’s biggest promotions, but who cannot make it to every home game, will be able to purchase one of two six-game ticket packs. Each pack will include a pair of fireworks dates, two promotional giveaway games, a Thirsty Thursday game, and a Sunday afternoon contest. Ticket packs can be purchased in the same manner as tickets to an individual game: at the Bombers offices, over the phone, or on the web.

Fans that want to arrange an outing for 25 or more people will be eligible to receive a discount of one dollar per ticket for the entire order, with larger discounts applied if the group size reaches 50 or 100 tickets.

With the new party deck and picnic area, groups also can pre-arrange an all-you-can-eat picnic for one full hour prior to game time. A variety of menu options are available, including ballpark entrees like hot dogs, hamburgers, bratwurst, and grilled chicken sandwiches. All picnics include sides and soft drinks. When the game begins and the picnic buffet concludes, group members can enjoy the game from their reserved seats, which are included as part of the picnic price, or hang out in the casual atmosphere of the party deck. Picnic prices range from $12 to $18 per person, depending on the menu, for groups of 50 or more. Since only one group can be accommodated per game in each of the picnic area and the party deck, groups are encouraged to contact the Bombers ticket office as soon as possible to reserve a date. A non-refundable deposit of $100 will reserve a date for a group.

Kids who want to celebrate their birthday in style can have a party at the park with nine or more of their closest friends… and KaBoom, of course. All birthday parties get to watch the game from reserved seats, where a Bombers staff member will deliver a hot dog, soft drink, and dessert for every kid in the party. The birthday child will receive a birthday prize from the Bombers, delivered in the stands by KaBoom himself! A birthday party for ten costs $130, plus $13 for each additional child participating in the party. Adults accompanying the party but not partaking in the food and drink can purchase reserved seats for the standard $9 each.

Fans that wish to arrange a group, picnic, or birthday party must do so through a Bombers representative, either over the phone or in person at the office. Details about all of the group opportunities at Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark can be found on the Bombers web site at www.bvbombers.com.

The Bombers are members of the nine-team Texas Collegiate League, one of the nation’s premier summer collegiate circuits. The Bombers begin their 48-game inaugural season on June 5 against the Coppell Copperheads; the regular season concludes on August 5, followed by the week-long TCL playoffs.
