The Bombers finished their roadtrip tonight against the Texas Marshalls. The game featured an approximately 50 minute weather delay. The Bombers fell behind early, but put some runs together to cut the lead to 5-4 Marshals, but the Marshals were able to score two more runs in the eight inning to extend the lead to 7-4. The Bombers could not get any runs in the ninth inning as they fell 7-4 from Jesuit High School. The Bombers will now head home for a two game series with The Woodlands Strykers.
The Bombers were finally able to get on the board in the sixth inning. James Wharton led the inning off with a walk. Wharton would come home on a RBI double by left fielder Brandon Wood. Wood would score the second run on a groundout by shortstop Corey Toups in which Wood was running past third on the play and was able to slide under the Marshals catcher to score the run. The third run of the night was scored by catcher Kevin Lamb. Lamb had a double to left center in the inning and was able to slide into to third on an error. Right fielder Myles Parma would hit a ground out that would score Lamb. The Bombers would add another run in the eighth inning.
