The Fourth Annual BooFest at the Ballpark presented by FedStar Credit Union is set for Sunday, October 30th, 2011. Last year over 3,000 people come through the Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark gates. The Brazos Valley Bombers’ event, which runs from 6-9 pm, is FREE and will include trick-or-treating, games, and costume contests. Candy is provided thanks to our local Kroger stores and Connecting Point Church who have provided tremendous support to ensure the best BooFest this year.
The spook-tacular Halloween event will allow children to trick-or-treat at nearly 40 booths sponsored by local businesses from around the Brazos Valley. There will be countless activities for the kids to participate in, including games like Bobbing For Apples, Ring Toss and Fish For Candy. In addition, there will also be a costume contest, with the winners receiving assorted prizes provided by local businesses and the Bombers!
Before you head out to the ballpark, make sure to stop by George Bush Library’s Night at the Museum. The George Bush Library event will run from 4-7pm with free shuttle provided by Ed Cravey Transportation from the library to Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark for BooFest and back. The shuttle will run from 6-9:30 pm. For more information, please visit Ballparkboofest.com or call Susan Cagle at 979-985-5190.
