With the 2009 Texas Collegiate League season in the rearview mirror, Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark is demonstrating its versatility as more than just a baseball venue.

The Stars of Pop concert, which features the Hannah Montana, Hillary Duff and Jonas Brothers tribute bands, is the first of several offseason events at the ballpark and promises to bring the same excitement that filled the air throughout the summer.

The concert will begin at 5 pm on October 16, with tickets costing $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Proceeds will benefit the United Way of the Brazos Valley Youth Leadership Cabinet.

In addition to the fantastic music, fans will have an opportunity to enjoy the ballpark’s complete selection of concessions, which include hot dogs, hamburgers, turkey legs and much more.

The concert is a prelude to several other exciting fall events, including Live at the Ballpark with Stoney Larue and Big Otis, Ballpark Boofest, the National Club Baseball Association fall tourney and the FLO Bowl.
