Although the Brazos Valley Bombers season has come to a close, fans can still catch some fantastic baseball action this Saturday at Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark. The Bryan Police Department is set to square off against the Bryan Fire Department in the annual Guns and Hoses game at 7 pm.
The event will benefit David Seaton and his children, Faith and Hayden, after they recently lost their Bryan home in a fire on July 5.
Tickets for the game are $1 per person and there will also be donation boxes at the game with all proceeds going to the family. In addition, there will be open concessions and fun activities for the children.
Thos who cannot attend the game can still donate to the cause at First Victoria Bank on East 29th Street in Bryan. An account is set up in the name of Beverly Turek, who is the grandmother of the family.
It is the second consecutive year that BVB Ballpark will be hosting the Guns and Hoses game, which is quickly becoming an annual event.
