The Victoria Generals brought the Brazos Valley Bombers’ two game winning streak to a halt tonight, as Blake Ford tossed a complete game shutout in the 5-0 win.
The Bombers were only able to manage three hits against Ford, who also struck out 10 in a masterful performance. The Bombers got good pitching performances out of Mitchell Pitts and Aaron Daab, but were unable to muster any support against Ford.

Making his second appearance out of the bullpen, Daab struck out the first two batters he faced to run his streak up to six consecutive strikeouts.
The Bombers will try to bounce back tomorrow as they play the final of the four game set against the Generals. Drew Flaniken will be on the hill for the Bombers trying to capture his second win of the season.
