Busy Weekend for Bombers
The upcoming weekend boasts several ranked matchups that should provide some exciting games. In the series of the weekend, #12 Texas will travel to Columbia to play #8 Missouri. Casey Whitmer is not slated to start any of the weekend games, but will most likely contribute in a relief role. Also, Bomber fans will have the opportunity to see the club’s newest additions in action this weekend, as Trey Sperring and Chad Colbert come to town to play the Texas A&M Aggies.
Tyler Davis will get the start for McNeese State today, as they begin a 3-game series with UT Arlington. Davis was phenomenal in his last start, throwing seven innings of no-hit ball against Northwestern State as the Cowboys coasted to victory.
