Where Are They Now? Spotlight on Former Players
Welcome back to our "Where Are They Now?" series! We're thrilled to catch up with some of our former stars and share their exciting journeys. Our team has a proud tradition of nurturing talent, and it's always a joy to see where life has taken our alumni.
Bryce Miller
Miller joined the Bombers in the summer of 2020 in between his seasons on the mound for Texas A&M. In Game 2 of the divisional series against the San Antonio Flying Chanclas, Miller helped to secure the win that led the Bombers down the path toward their 2020 TCL championship win.
Now, Miller pitches for the Seattle Mariners, drafted in the fourth round in 2021. In his debut in 2023 against the Athletics, he pitched six innings with 10 strikeouts which set the record for the most strikeouts in a debut. In the 2024 season, Milled ended with a 12-8 record, 2.49 ERA and a 0.98 WHIP, placing him eighth and fourth in the MLB, respectively.
By the end of the season Miller tallied seven games where he pitched for seven innings, allowing one or no runs, and was awarded Most Improved Pitcher from the Mariners for his performance. His progression hints at his potential to be a cornerstone in the Mariners' pitching rotation for the foreseeable future.
We hope you enjoyed this dynamic look back at one of our former players and his current adventures. Stay tuned for more updates in our "Where Are They Now?" series, as we continue to celebrate the achievements of our alumni both on and off the field every Friday.
