Brazos Valley’s “Ambassador of Fun” is getting ready to display his versatility this weekend in the Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon. KaBoom will be joined by Bombshell Christine Mikolajczak, co-owner Uri Geva, and staff members Ashley Bertling and Jerrod Lane in what KaBoom says will be the “Bowling Event of the Year.” Junior Achievement is an organization that prepares young people to reach their potential and succeed in a global economy. They are taught the basic principles of economics, entrepreneurship, and integrity through educational programs. These children not only learn how to make it in life, but also to thrive in every aspect of it.
KaBoom and his teammates are very excited about this opportunity to contribute to the future of these kids. It will be a fun event and great experience as KaBoom, known for his exploits with the baseball team, will put his self-proclaimed “amazing skills” to the test. Rumor has it that KaBoom throws a destructive hook when his fuse is lit, and he plans on throwing a near perfect game. Whether KaBoom is on his game or not, it should be a entertaining day! Come and join the fun this Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Grand Station Bowling Alley off of Highway 6, between Holleman and Southwest Parkway.
