Bryan-College Station, TX (June 8, 2016)- The Brazos Valley Bombers accomplished a great win against the Acadiana Cane Cutters, finishing the game with an 8-5 score. The Bombers were down and came back to win the series. The Bombers continued winning ways for Trophy Tuesdays, sponsored by Avant Garde - College Prep Services, when Alex Samples went three for three with an RBI. The Bombers also celebrated Michael Fitzsimmons first hit, as a Bombers player, with a double.
The Bombers’ “Like A Boss” event, presented by College Station Hilton, recognized many great leaders who operate successful businesses in the Brazos Valley. Trophy Tuesday celebrated players from the A&M Consolidated High School Football team for their hard work and commitment to achieve the 2015 18 5A Co-District Champions.
Friday, June 10, kicks off the Bombers first Firework Friday sponsored by Woodson Lumber and Annex Hookah. The show will include appearances from local cheer and dance teams for Spirit Night. The night will also include the displaying of artwork, created by students from the Brazos Valley, supported by Painting with a Twist. The Bombers take the field at 7:05 against the Woodlands Strykers.
