Bombers Add Four More Arms to a Loaded Pitching Staff

Stovall, May, Standlee, and DeAses continue to strengthen Brazos Valley’s roster ahead of the TCL season

Bryan-College Station, TX (May 27, 2026) – The Brazos Valley Bombers announced the addition of four more right-handed pitchers to their growing roster for the upcoming season: Brandon Stovall, Austin May, Ian Standlee, and Adrian DeAses. The four newcomers join a pitching staff that brings something different to a Bombers club with championship aspirations.

Brandon Stovall comes to the Bombers from Ranger College, where the Georgetown, Texas, native has been developing his game as a sophomore. Stovall flashed promising swing-and-miss ability this season, punching out seven batters in his appearances for the Rangers. An Exercise Science major, Stovall brings athleticism and a relentless work ethic to the Bombers staff.

Austin May, a sophomore from Azle, Texas, has put together a standout season at Seminole State College, racking up an impressive 30 strikeouts across just 25.1 innings of work while going 2-1 in two starts. May has shown a knack for missing bats at a high rate, and his ability to work deep into games gives the Bombers a true weapon at the front of a rotation or in a high-leverage role out of the bullpen. A Business major, May has the competitive drive to make a significant impact in Bryan-College Station this summer.

Ian Standlee is perhaps the most unique addition of the group, bringing a military discipline and mental toughness to the mound that is rare at any level. The junior right-hander from Klein, Texas, competes for Army West Point, where he is pursuing a degree in Engineering Management. Standlee brings a composure and preparation that should serve him well in the environment of the TCL.

Rounding out the group is Adrian DeAses, a sophomore right-hander from Sinton, Texas, who pitches for Texas A&M Kingsville. A Criminal Justice major, DeAses brings strong South Texas roots to Brazos Valley. He will have every opportunity to carve out a role on the Bombers staff this summer and showcase his abilities.
