The regular season will kick off Thursday, May 28 when the Bombers hit the road for a two-game set against the Strykers in the Woodlands after securing a record of 8-1 against the Strykers in 2014. They will then travel to Victoria for a pair of games against the Generals, whom the Bombers defeated to claim the championship series in the past two years.
After defeating East Texas in 2014 to advance to the TCL Championship series, the Bombers will once again host the Pump Jacks at Cellucor Field in Bryan, Texas for the 2015 home opener on Tuesday, June 2. This first home stand will continue as the Bombers once again face the Generals of Victoria.
The TCL Playoffs will begin Saturday, August 8 as the Bombers work to extend their league record of making playoffs for the past eight seasons. The top two teams from each half of the season will earn a spot in the playoffs. The pair of clubs that clinch a playoff spot in the first half will secure home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Should a team repeat as the No. 1 team in both the first and second halves, the next-best overall record will earn a wild-card playoff spot.
The Bombers 2015 schedule is presented by Cellucor, Brazos Bingo, Sterling Auto Group, Program Insurance Group, St. Joseph Hospital, Burger King, Rattlers Convenience Stores, Ashley Furniture Homestore, George Bush Presidential Library & Museum, Bruders Electric and TEEX. The Bombers will host a total of 30 regular season home games during the summer against TCL teams including the Acadiana Cane Cutters, East Texas Pump Jacks, Texas Marshals, Victoria Generals, and Woodlands Strykers.
