2017 TCL Awards

Bryan/College Station, Texas(August 15, 2017)- With the conclusion of the 2017 TCL season, the league awards have been announced, with multiple bombers players making the list.

This years TCL player of the year was awarded to Jared Mang from the University of New Mexico who led the Bombers with a .349 batting average and 26 RBI. Mang also had 3 home comprar cialis generico runs during the 2017 campaign.

Michael Mokma was given Co Freshman of the year, sharing with Jack Keenly from the Generals. Mokma out of Michigan State University, started 9 games in the regular season with a 2.77 ERA and a 5-2 record. In the playoffs, Mokma went 1-0 with a 7 inning performance in game 1 of the championship round against the Cane Cutters.

 

1st TCL team had three Bombers players,Chase Calabuig was named to 1st team outfield with a .303 batting average and 17 RBI.

 

Mokma was named 1st team starter and Reid Morgan was named 1st team relief pitcher.

Morgan led the Bombers with six wins and a 1.13 ERA . All six of his wins this season came out of the reliever role, pitching a total of 39.2 IP.

 

The 2nd TCL team featured Thomas Jeffries and Michael Helman.

 

Jeffries was named second team 1st baseman. Jeffries had a .328 batting average with 44 hits and 15 stolen bases.

 

Helman was named second team second baseman with a .303 batting average with 14 RBI and 14 stolen bases.

 

Head coach Trey Porras was named the 2017 TCL coach pożyczki przez internet of the year, leading the Bombers to their 5th straight TCL title and a 34-18 overall record in the regular season, and a 3-0 championship run.
