The nationally and historically famous Harlem Globetrotters are coming to town! Come join the Bombers and KaBoom at Reed Arena for the best show of the year!
The Globetrotters, known for their razzle-dazzle moves on the basketball court, will begin the show at 7 pm on Wednesday at Reed Arena. Now in their 83rd consecutive season of touring the world, the Globetrotters showcase a captivating assortment of trick shots, high-flying dunks and ball-handling wizardry…with a side-splitting array of comedy guaranteed to entertain both the young and the young at heart.
Known for his connections with celebrities such as Reggy the Purple Party Dude and the Zooperstars, KaBoom took his networking a step further by bringing in the acclaimed Globetrotters. The event promises to raise eyebrows and draw raucous cheers from the crowd as the Globetrotters perform their astounding tricks.
The Bombers are members of the Texas Collegiate League, one of the nation’s premier summer collegiate circuits. Teams like the Bombers bring minor league baseball-style entertainment to communities throughout the country, giving some of the best college players a chance to further their careers in wood bat leagues in front of Major League scouts. The Bombers 48-game season begins on June 5 and runs through August 8, followed by the TCL playoffs and a championship series. Season tickets for the 2009 season are now on sale.
