Hannah Montana Tribute & Stoney LaRue Headline Great Weather and Live Music at the Ballpark

With the incessant rainstorms of the past few weeks in the rearview mirror, the Brazos Valley Bombers are set to host Live at the Ballpark this weekend, which will feature concerts on back to back nights at Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark.

The fun will begin at 5 pm on October 16 with the Stars of Pop Tribute Bands, which feature the tribute bands for Hannah Montana, the Jonas Brothers and Hillary Duff. The following day, 10 bands headlined by Stoney LaRue and Big Otis will play in an all-day music festival that includes a rib cook-off beginning at 11 am.

The forecast calls for beautiful weather, with temperatures in the low 70’s and not a single rain cloud on the radar.

Though the Bombers are just two months removed from their baseball season, Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark is ready to rock again; this time to a different tune than baseball.

With the stage set up on the field and rib cook-off booths lining the outfield fence, the concert will provide fans with a unique atmosphere that is brand new to the Bryan-College Station area.

There will also be full concessions available for both concerts, as well as inflatables during the Stars of Pop concert on Friday.

Tickets for the Stars of Pop Concert are $7 in advance and $10 at the gate, with proceeds benefiting the United Way Youth Leadership Cabinet. Tickets for the all-day music festival on Saturday are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate.

Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark, once known as just a baseball park, has begun to expand its borders over the past two years. With offseason events like BeerFest, Dia Del Nino, BooFest and FanFest, the ballpark has transformed into a year-round venue that boasts a smorgasbord of fun.
