Davis pitches McNeese State to victory

Tyler Davis was in the zone today and he never let opposing hitters have a chance. His seven inning, six strikeout gem helped propel the Cowboys to an easy victory over Nicholls State , 6-3. Shon Landry was 1-for-3 on the day, including the go ahead run and the Cowboys never looked back.

Long Beach State prepares for big series

Long Beach State , currently ranked #6, opens play against #11 UCLA tonight in what should be a very exciting series. Tonight’s game is followed up by a double-header tomorrow beginning at 3pm. Long Beach State is stacked with Bomber players T.J. Mittelstaedt, Kip Masuda, Dustin Rasco and Brandon Godfrey, who are all expected to make an impact this weekend.

Longhorns crush Texas Tech

The #18 ranked Texas Longhorns went into Lubbock yesterday and pounded the Red Raiders 22-6, the most runs they’ve ever scored in a Big 12 game. They look to continue their success tonight at 6pm before wrapping up the series tomorrow afternoon. Star Bomber pitcher Casey Whitmer is expected to pitch in one of the two games and build off of his recent success.
