This coming Saturday, June 15, marks a momentous day for the Brazos Valley Bombers, as for the first time since 2007 they will not only play an afternoon game, but will also host two local little league closing ceremonies. This afternoon of family fun will take place at American Momentum Bank ballpark and is free for the whole community, thanks to Twin City Properties!
The fun all starts at 1:30pm when Bryan United Little League takes the field for their closing ceremonies. All Star teams and Special Games teams will also be announced at this time. At 2:30pm gates will open for general admission to the Bombers game against the Acadiana Cane Cutters, who they are currently 4-0 against. After the conclusion of the Bombers game, Bryan National Little League will take the field to hold their closing ceremonies.
Guests are invited to come enjoy carnival games, delicious concessions, such as foot long hotdogs and funnel cake fries, the UPA Kidz Zone, and nine innings on entertainment with a little bit of baseball in between! Every Saturday is also Kids Free Saturday, so children may enjoy two free tickets to play in the UPA Kidz Zone!
On Tuesday the Bombers will travel to Kilgore to take on the East Texas PumpJacks at 7:05pm Action returns to American Momentum Bank Ballpark on Thursday, July 13 at 7:05pm when the Bombers face the Woodlands Strykers.
