Bombers Prepare for a Salute the Troops Fireworks Celebration

Bryan-College Station, TX (June 28, 2010) – The Brazos Valley Bombers are proud to announce plans for the biggest fireworks celebration in the team’s four-year history. The show will take place on Friday, July 2, as part of the Salute the Troops Weekend presented by the George Bush Presidential Library.

July 2 will be a day to honor the troops at Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark as the first 500 fans will receive camouflage koozies thanks to the George Bush Presidential Library. After the game fans will be treated to a Super-Sized Fireworks Friday show that is sure to be more spectacular than all the incredible shows before.

The game on Friday will be one of three throughout the weekend. On Thursday, the Bombers will celebrate Stroke Awareness Night presented by SJPrevention.com and fans will have the opportunity to enjoy karaoke all night as well as $1 beer and $0.50 soft drinks on Thirsty Thursday sponsored by Western Beverages. Saturday will wrap up the Salute the troops Weekend with hundreds of American flags throughout the ballpark and it will be a Kids Free Saturday where kids will receive a free meal ticket and two free tickets to the Kids Zone thanks to Chicken Express!
