With the 2010 season rapidly approaching, the Brazos Valley Bombers announced the release of their first mini-pack of the season, the 5 for $50 package.
The package gives fans an opportunity to choose five games on the 2010 schedule, complete with reserved seating and all-you-can-eat food and soft drinks, for an hour before the game. With single-game reserved tickets normally at $9 per game, along with $1 for parking the package allows fans to pick their favorite five games and in essence get the all-you-can-eat food and drinks for free.
The return of fan-favorite promotional nights such as Margaritaville Wednesday, Thirsty Thursday, along with four Fireworks Friday and one Super-Sized Fireworks Friday, fans will have an opportunity to sample their favorite nights- at an affordable price.
With Brazos Valley Bank renewing their naming rights deal for three additional years the Bombers are thrilled to announce additional improvements to the ballpark. Among the new attractions to the Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark will be the Beer Garden. This area will contain beers from several craft breweries, including Saint Arnold’s, Real Ale, Pyramid, and others. All beer sold in the Beer Garden will be $1 every game, all night long. This new Beer Garden will be located behind the Bombers Dugout and will have its own seating section.
Additionally an upgraded playing surface is scheduled to be installed before the 2010 season. Co-Owner Uri Geva mentioned he was excited about the upcoming leveling project and installation of new grass. “Our coaching staff is dedicated to bringing top-notch baseball players from all of College Baseball, and we wanted to show the players our commitment to winning by providing an upgraded playing surface”. The field renovations will be completed before the home opener on June 2nd as the Bombers host the TCL expansion Texas Tomcats.
