Bryan/College Station, Texas – May 11, 2018 – The Brazos Valley Bombers are excited to announce the addition of Joshua Larzabal and Bradley Griggs to the 2018 Brazos Valley Bombers roster.
Joshua Larzabal is a Freshman pitcher for Rice University, who has yet to allow a run this season in limited action. As a high school pitcher, Larzabal starred for North Shore High School as both a pitcher and a first baseman. During his senior season, Larzabal led the team to a 24-11 record and led a deep playoff run to the Regional Semifinals of the state tournament. His production that season earned him a position on the All-Greater Houston team as well as a spot on the Perfect Game All-American Honorable Mention team.
Bradley Griggs is a Junior pitcher for the University of Texas-San Antonio, who has been one of the team’s best pitchers out of the bullpen. This season, Griggs has pitched to a 2.74 ERA this season, while compiling over a strikeout per inning pitched. Griggs has been a successful player for the Roadrunners since he arrived after attending Medina Valley High School. While there, he was a first team all-district player.
