Bombers Add Two Experienced Infielders for 2019

Bryan/College Station, TX – May, 20 2019 – The Brazos Valley Bombers announced on Monday the signing of two infielders, one from Hutchinson Community College and another from Texas A&M. Sophomore Logan Sartori is a future Aggie who will join the ranks of Texas A&M baseball alongside Ty Coleman. Coleman is a freshman infielder for the Aggies coming out of Midland Lee High School.

Sartori, a Lincoln, NE native, wrapped up his sophomore season at Hutchinson where he posted an impressive .338/.435/.614 slash line in two seasons. In 122 total games at Hutchinson, Sartori collected 155 hits with 22 home runs and 118 RBI. Sartori is also a threat on the bases, swiping 43 bags in two years.

Joining Sartori from Midland, TX is Coleman. Coleman started 44 games primarily at 3rd base in his first year with the Aggies. Coelman has 41 hits on the season including 4 home runs and 30 RBI. Early in March, Colman was named the SEC freshman of the week after going 7-14 with four runs, one home run and six RBI’s in four games.

“We couldn’t be more excited about getting Ty and Logan in a Bomber’s uniform,” says Manager Brian Nelson. “Both of them are extremely athletic, strong, and talented. We expect to be very sound defensively in the infield with these two experienced players.”
