BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas (May 26, 2021) — The Brazos Valley Bombers are excited to announce the addition of three more pitchers to the 2021 Bombers Bullpen.
The first to step onto the rubber is Reece Gould from Texas State University. With 34 career strikeouts, the 6-foot-2 sophomore loves making an impact within the strike zone. In 2020, Gould boasted an astounding 2.30 ERA and went 1-0 as a winning pitcher. A two-time Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll student, Gould is ready to use his smarts to perform as a calculated winner with the Bombers.
Also from Texas State University is sophomore Triston Dixon. The right-handed pitcher has recorded a whopping 123 strikeouts across his collegiate career, making him one of the most decorated pitchers in the Bombers rotation. Dixon held a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with the Bobcats, recording zero errors on the field, and is looking to continue this streak of perfection in the Brazos Valley.
The final pitching addition stepping onto the mound is Simon Miller. Though only a freshman at The University of Texas at San Antonio, Miller has already made quite a name for himself, appearing in 29.2 innings and notching 36 strikeouts. With a 5-0 record, Miller has always been named the team’s winning pitcher in closeout appearances, further adding to the Bombers bullpen prestige.
Clutch Entertainment is pleased to give these three young men the opportunity to continue throwing strikes throughout the summer.
