BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas (May 10, 2021) — The Brazos Valley Bombers are excited to announce the newest outfield additions to the 2021 Summer Roster.
First up is Drew Collins, a freshman from Oakland University. Collins is just starting out his collegiate career, and is already making his mark in every game he plays. This season, Collins has appeared in 25 games where he has tallied up an average of .192 with five hits and five runs. In highschool, he was a three-time letter winner in center field, First-Team All-Conference as a senior, Second-Team All-Conference as a junior and the 11th ranked outfielder in Ohio.
Joining the outfield lineup is Chris Shull. Shull is playing for his hometown of San Antonio at the University of Texas-San Antonio. He has appeared in the outfield and as a pitcher for the roadrunners this 2021 season. Shull has started in six games, racking up seven runs, four hits and two home runs.
The final addition is Jackson Hardy from Angelo State. Hardy, a sophomore, is an exceptional addition to the outfield roster. In 2019, he was selected Second Team All-Conference and Outfield Golden Glove recipient. This ‘21 season, he has started in 40 games and stepped up to the plate 122 times.
