Bombers Dominate the River Monsters in a 3 Home Run Game

Seguin, TX (June 8, 2023) – The Bombers absolutely dominated on offense tonight as they destroyed the River Monsters 15-4. After being down 2-0 after the fourth they took momentum off of Cole Plowman’s two run home run to score 13 more runs after that homer sending them to an easy victory. The offense logged 3 home runs and countless hits tonight, tiring out Seguin’s pitching staff proving how strong the Brazos Valley hitters are this season. This Bombers offense definitely was the reason Seguin took the loss tonight with the hitters making this field look like a launch pad. The Bombers return home tomorrow to take on the Cane Cutters in hopes of securing another win to keep this streak alive and with a game like tonight it looks like Brazos Valley is not slowing down anytime soon.

Cole Modgling was one of the star hitters tonight for the Bombers starting out in the 1st inning with a single to third base. The athlete also logged an impressive 4th inning leadoff double, a base hit that went past the River Monsters centerfielder to get Simon Larranga and Robert Oropeza to home in the 6th, and absolutely crushed a 3 run home run ball down the middle in center field in the 9th inning! Simon Larranga showed off his skills at the plate with a 5th inning single and with bases loaded walked in a run! Another home run hitter tonight was Ben Columbus! The Nebraska athlete logged a double, hitting the ball deep into right field advancing Cole Plowman to third and in the 9th smashed a solo home run over the wall that is definitely considered an absolute nuke tonight.

Cole Plowman showed off impressive consistent hitting tonight being the player of the game with a two run homer to tie the game 2-2 in the 4th and later in the game a line drive up the middle to send Cole Modgling home for a run! Christian Smith Johnson played a great game on both sides tonight advancing to first off bunt, as well as slinging several balls in from left field getting the distance right every time showing off his strong arm on defense, and finally walking in a run in the 5th inning. Casey Sunseri, who is one of the best hitters in the entire TCL, walked in a run tonight and earned a line drive up the middle for a base hit later in the game. Other mentionable players that advanced this offense tonight were Robert Oropeza who logged a single and a double, Maddox Miesse who earned a two RBI double advancing Cole Plowman and Ben Columbus home, and Jordan Medellin with a single that drove home Maddox Miesse.
